Research Interest: Game theory, Repeated games, Mechanism design, Social networks
Research Statement: David Miller studies repeated and dynamic games with private information, renegotiation, and endogenous state variables, often employing mechanism design techniques in the analysis. Applications include collusion, repeated auctions, trade, and international debt. He studies endogenous social networks in dynamic settings; applications include risk sharing, supply chains, and microfinance. He also studies questions motivated by innovation and investment in dynamic settings.
