Economics Room Reservations

Policies and Procedures 

  • At this time, rooms can only be reserved for Economics department instructional or administrative use
  • Please submit all room requests to: All reservations must be made through email to confirm room availability. The calendar details are updated on a regular basis, but your reservation is not official until you receive email confirmation. Please allow up to one business day for confirmation of booking (up to three days at the beginning of each quarter as that is a heavy reservation period).
  • For your convenience, you may access room availability using the links to the left
  • Rooms are reserved on a first come, first serve basis with priority given to departmental courses
  • Occasionally we may need to reschedule a reservation; in the event this occurs, the original requestor will be emailed

Robert Engle Seminar Room, Economics 200 (Room capacity: 36 seats w/desks, add'l 10 seats w/o desks)
Clive Granger Seminar Room, Economics 300 (Room capacity: 35 seats w/desks, add'l 12 seats w/o desks)
Sequoyah Hall 231 (Room capacity: 10 seats w/desks, add'l 7 seats w/o desks)
Walter Heller Seminar Room, Sequoyah Hall 244  (Room capacity: 18 seats w/desks, add'l 9 seats w/o desks)

Primary Room Usage

  • Undergraduate and graduate instruction (seminars, discussions, and special projects necessary and associated with class work)
  • Qualifying exams and dissertations
  • OSD exam administration
