Guidelines for Poster Sessions

A poster session is a good way to efficiently communicate your research to others working in
your area. Most presenters bring 6-8 pages printed on standard 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper which they then tape to an easel or wall. These should use large enough font for someone standing 4 feet away to be able to read easily. Some authors use print-outs of the slides or key figures they would use to give a short succinct summary of the paper. Conference participants then stroll by to read the display or engage the author in discussion.
